The Surf 2012 Girls team concluded the SoCal Fall season on a high note with a 3-1 win against Chula Vista FC last Saturday. They finished the season in 7th place. State Cup will start at the end of January. Ava has Surf College Cup on Dec 2-3 and Vegas Cup from Jan 12-15. No practices in December and January and with tryouts coming in February, Ava wanted to up her game. Today she joined the Samba Futsal Club on a competitive 2012 team. Ava had a tough game today. Every time she plays this team it’s a battle. Ava played the whole game, made some great moves, and great plays. Took some shots as well but it just didn’t work out. She’ll play them again on the 29th, hoping for a win! Final 0-2. Here’s a photo of an opponent player asking Ava for a high five during the game - I assume it’s for her work ethic.
