Ava Featured in Nike’s “We Play Real” Campaign

Ava is featured in Nike’s latest campaign, We Play Real. The video shines a spotlight on Black women athletes in celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.

Since its release on March 8, the campaign has aired on national television, including major sports networks. In addition, the video has generated more than 3.5 million views on Nike’s YouTube channel.

You can spot Ava at the 38-second mark, making this an especially meaningful milestone in her soccer journey. We are incredibly proud that she had the opportunity to be part of a project that celebrates the dedication, talent, and achievements of Black women in sports.

Nike describes the campaign with the following message:

“Black women are rarely recognized for the hard work they put in. It’s not just magic—they are the real thing. Join us in celebrating their hard work and help level the playing field.”
